The ASU SunRISE Training is a computer demonstration designed to provide resources and information geared toward employees who will be using the SunRISE online ordering system. This system will be used as a general online ordering system for items such as Lab Supplies & Materials, office supplies, computers, facilities maintenance products and more. Employees attending the training will have the opportunity to see the ease of using the SunRISE System to:
- Search online catalogs and order items from Scientific Suppliers, Dell, Grainger and more
- Create flexible, easy-to-understand purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Understand the approval and workflow process
- Perform tasks associated with order approval - approving, rejecting & forwarding requisitions and more
SunRISE Training is strongly recommended for any employee who will be searching catalogs and ordering items. SunRISE Training will be mandatory for all new Agency/Org Approvers (an Agency/Org Approver is someone who approves accounting information used on the requisitions and submits the orders electronically to the Supplier).
